Our biennial fundraising dinners offer inspiring speakers, great food, live music, unique prizes and more. To date, they have raised at total of £195,630 which has helped us to support over 650 children through education, build 59 houses, start 40 business/farming projects, deliver 50 seminars for over 3,000 attendees, provide 322 beds and run ongoing food and psychosocial support programme in Kenya. The dinners have also played a major role in enabling us to provide over £40,000 of equipment and services for children with disabilities and their families in the north-east of Scotland.
Speakers have included inspirational mountaineer Jamie Andrew, former world record holders Dave Moorcroft and Wilson Kipsang, one of the world's most successful athletics coaches Brother Colm O'Connell, one of the children we are proud to have supported through school and college, Enock Kirop and our very own GEF staff members Gideon Gathimba and David Sagida.
Our next dinner will be held in 2026, date and location to be confirmed.
