Tabitha and her family find themselves in a critical situation; short of food, clothing and with Tabitha and her siblings all either out of school or being sent home regularly due to being unable to afford the cost of fees, uniform and books.
Life became much harder for the family when Tabitha’s dad passed away. Her mum works as many hours as she can but struggles to earn enough to put food on the table – the family regularly go for a day or longer without food.
We want to make their lives a lot less challenging. Sponsorship of £35 per month from an individual or company will ensure Tabitha is not sent home from school and that she has new uniform, shoes, books and stationery. We will also be adding the family to our monthly food support programme and assisting them with seeds and fertiliser for farming.
