Esther is in Primary 4 and is determined to become a nurse so that she can help people who are unwell. She and her parents live in a very challenging environment and struggle to survive. They eat and sleep in a small room made from mud and work opportunities are scarce. Now and again her dad manages to get work on a construction site and her mum does household chores for neighbours but at most they earn £2 per day.
By sponsoring Esther’s education for £35 per month, you will be giving her the chance to attend and complete primary, secondary and tertiary education. 100% of your support will go towards her public-school fees, uniform, shoes, books, school meals, stationery and female menstrual care products when required.
You will receive an end of year school performance and general update along with a photo from us. Depending on location and the time of year, you may have the chance to meet her should you come on one of our Kenya Adventure (next one 2025) or House Building (next one 2026) trips to Kenya.
