Before GEF support, Brilyn lived with her mum and brother in a single rented room without electricity.
She shared a bed with her mum and her brother slept on a basic couch and was often sent home from school due to unpaid fees, which meant she missed many crucial classes and her grades suffered.
Through GEF sponsorship she was able to continue at school and keep her dream of completing higher education alive. Brilyn recently completed a BSC in Business Innovation Technology Management and dreams of one day being a successful businesswoman.
Despite the adversity she has faced in her life, Brilyn is always full of belief and positivity. She is an inspiration to her community.
