Aryan currently lives with her 6 siblings and two parents in a small broken structure. Her parents work hard when jobs are available but at most they each earn £1.50 per day. This make it impossible to afford school fees and so the children are regularly sent home from school. They often go to sleep hungry and wake up to no breakfast. The parents are often faced with choosing between food and education and despite their challenges they are funding one of their older children through university. The local community have recently fundraised to build them a new house which is almost complete and soon they will have a place to live.
By sponsoring Aryan’s education for £35 per month, you will be giving her the chance to attend and complete primary, secondary and tertiary education. 100% of your support will go towards her public-school fees, uniform, shoes, books, school meals, stationery and female menstrual care products when required.
You will receive an end of year school performance and general update along with a photo from us. Depending on location and the time of year, you may also have the chance to meet her should you come on one of our Kenya Adventure (next one 2025) or House Building (next one 2026) trips to Kenya.
