Leave a Legacy

By leaving a gift in your will to GEF you can help ensure that the vital work we do in Kenya and north-east Scotland continues to make a lasting difference for generations to come.

If you already have a will, you can easily update it by working with your solicitor. Whether you choose to use a pre-written codicil or ask your solicitor to draft one for you, the process is simple. If you prefer to write the codicil yourself, just make sure to clearly state your wishes in writing, sign and date it in front of a witness (who should not be a family member). The witness should also sign, providing their full name, address, and the location where the document is signed. Once completed, the codicil can be kept alongside your original will.

Your thoughtful consideration of a legacy gift would mean so much to us and help ensure our work continues to positively impact those in need.

Please feel free to contact us if you would like to learn more about leaving a legacy or how your gift could make a difference.
