I started volunteering with the charity back in 2015 when I was given the chance through my previous employer to take part in what I thought was a ‘once in a lifetime opportunity’. Six years later and I am the charity’s house building trip project manager and I love my voluntary role within the charity. The highlight for me and driving power that keeps me committed to the cause is seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces as we finish building their new homes.
