Benard has 4 siblings, and unfortunately had a very difficult time when their mother passed away, aged 34, from a brain tumour. 5 days later their Grandmother passed away leaving the children with no guardianship.
Their auntie had to quit her job in Nairobi to take care of the 5 children and move her 3 children to be with the children under one household. In September 2023 GEF built the family a house within the new GEF village enabling a huge change for them all with a chance of stability.
By sponsoring Benard’s education for £35 per month, you will be giving him the chance to attend and complete primary, secondary and tertiary education. 100% of your support will go towards his public-school fees, uniform, shoes, books, school meals and stationery.
You will receive an end of year school performance and general update along with a photo from us and have the chance to meet him should you come on one of our Kenya House Building (next one 2026) trips to Kenya.
