15 year old Teresa has had an incredibly tough life, and due to several reasons, she is now only in Primary 4.
Teresa lives at Pavilion Village children’s Home after being rescued due to extreme poverty and neglect. She and her younger brother were out of school for a long time. Sadly, their mother was bitten by a snake, leaving her in constant pain and unable to work. With no stable support, the family often went without food, and the children regularly missed school due to unpaid fees.
Teresa is now safe and eats regular meals, but her education is at risk.
For £40 per month, you can sponsor Teresa’s education and give her the opportunity to complete primary, secondary and tertiary education, without the fear of being sent home. 100% of your support will cover her public school fees, uniform, shoes, and school meals, books, stationery and menstrual care products when needed. You’ll receive an annual school performance and life update, along with a photo of Teresa as well as having the opportunity to exchange an annual letter.
