Race one: DUTHIE PARK 5K/KIDS 1K

Duthie Park 5k and Kids 1k race on Sunday 17th May @ Duthie Park, Aberdeen.

Kids 1k, for those aged under 11 on day of race, starts at 10.30am.

Adults 5k, for those aged 11 and over on day of race, starts at 11am.

However, if we receive a high volume of entries to the 5k, we will split entrants into more than one race. Startlists will be based on predicted times, with the fastest race taking place last.

Wheelchair racers and frame runners are welcome, and will be set off 2 minutes before the runners start time in each race.

Entries close April 26th 2026 (we cannot accept any late entries).

Full event info, along with start times of additional races if required, will be emailed to entrants by Friday 8th May.

Race two: PRIME FOUR 3K/KIDS 1K

Prime Four 3k and Kids 1k on Sunday 28th June @ Prime Four Business Park in Kingswells.

Kids 1k, for those aged under 11 on day of race, starts at 10am,

Immediately followed by the 3k, for those aged 11 and over on day of race.

Adults 3k, for those aged 11 and over on day of race, starts at 11am.

However, if we receive a high volume of entries to the 3k, we will split entrants into more than one race. Startlists will be based on predicted times, with the fastest race taking place last.

Entries close 6th June 2026.

Full event info, along with start times of additional races if required, will be emailed to entrants by Monday 15th June.

Race three: MEL'S UNION STREET MILE

Kindly sponsored by Salus Technical

Mel's Union Street Mile in association with Celebrate Aberdeen in August @ Union Street, Aberdeen. Date tbc.

The race will start on Union Street at Holburn Junction, turn left along Union Terrace, right past HMT, down and up Schoolhill, right past Marischal College and finish on Broad Street.

Races start from 10.30am with the kids race, followed by the adults race at 10.45am. Due to the tight time available due to road closures and the Celebrate Aberdeen Parade starting at 11am, entrants must be able to complete 1 mile in under 15 minutes.

Entries expected to open in mid March.

I declare that I am an amateur as defined under SAL/UKA rules and all associated bodies and will abide by those rules. If running the Prime Four 3k or Duthie Park 5k, I will be 11 years of age or older on the day of the respective race. I hereby agree that the organisers or their associates shall not be liable for any loss, injury, accident or damage as a consequence of my participation in the event. I will not participate in the event unless I am medically and physically fit to complete the distance I have entered. I also agree to inform the organisers of any medical conditions.

Photos taken during the Event by our official Event photographers may be used in the Event marketing literature. By entering the Event you give permission for the free use of your name, voice or picture in any photo, images or video footage broadcast, telecast, advertising, promotion or other account of the Event, the sponsor and the beneficiary charities in any future fundraising, marketing or publicity materials including national and regional press and on any of our website(s) as well as on the Event, sponsor or charity beneficiaries’ Social Media accounts. In addition, you agree to the Event, sponsor or charity beneficiaries storing copies of such photo images or video footage.

The Event Organiser to use my name, quotes, video and photographic likeness for marketing and promotional purposes. I also understand that entry fees and related purchases are non refundable, non transferable and cannot be deferred.

Although the race is non-refundable, there is a facility to change competitors for those who have entered and cannot manage who wish to pass their number to another person. This facility is available until close of entry for each race, please e-mail info@gathimbaedwardsfoundation.org to do this along with all details of the substitute person.

Your race number must be collected on the day of the races up to 30 minutes before race starts.
