Oscar was just 6 when his parents left and never came back.
He was found alone and scared by his grandparents, who have cared for him ever since — despite being elderly, frail, and unable to work.
Now in Grade 3, Oscar is bright, disciplined, and eager to learn, but he’s often sent home because his family can’t afford school fees or supplies. Despite all this, he remains hopeful and committed. His teacher says he has incredible potential — he just needs someone to believe in him.
For £40 per month, you can sponsor Oscar’s education and give him the opportunity to complete primary, secondary, and tertiary education. Your support will cover his public school fees, uniform, shoes, and school meals, books and stationery. 100% of your sponsorship goes directly to these essentials. You’ll receive an annual school performance and life update, along with a photo of Oscar as well as having the opportunity to exchange an annual letter.
