Julian and Steph’s personalised volunteer experience

myles Uncategorized

I’ve been a long time admirer and supporter of the work that GEF has been doing in Kenya. So when Steph and I decided to go travelling we thought it would be the perfect oppertunity to get involved in this great work first-hand. When I told Myles about our plans he was supportive and accomodating and went out of his way to help us arrange a once in a lifetime trip.

From a Safari trip to getting our hands dirty constructing a new road we did it all, I even had the privilege of running with the pros in the legendary town of Iten. Myles and his fantastic network of contacts helped to arrange it all.

By the end of our 3 week stay we felt like we’d become part of the family, and we were sad to leave. I’d highly recommend getting involved with GEF in Kenya, for us it was a rewarding and eye opening experience.DSCF8158
