Irene is a bright and hardworking student in her final year of high school. She dreams of becoming a doctor and consistently ranks among the top in her class.
But despite her strong performance, Irene’s education is constantly under threat. She is often sent home due to unpaid school fees, forcing her to miss valuable learning time.
Her family faces tough financial challenges. Her mother, Clare, is physically disabled but does everything she can to support the family. Her father, Festus, finds casual work when it is available, and without a steady income, they struggle to meet even basic needs.
For £40 per month, you can sponsor Irene’s education and give her the opportunity to complete secondary and tertiary education. 100% of your support will cover her public school fees, uniform, shoes, and school meals, books, stationery and menstrual care products when needed. You’ll receive an annual school performance and life update, along with a photo of Irene as well as having the opportunity to exchange an annual letter.
