Francis, his brother and sister are cared for by their grandmother, who struggles to provide them with food, clothing and an education.
Tragically, their mum was the victim of rape, and from that Francis’ 2 siblings were born. Since the attack she has faced mental health challenges which make it difficult for her to care for the children.
Thankfully, things have started to get a bit easier for the kids since a GEF supporter was able to fund beds, bedding and a solar panel for the family. However, we would love for Francis to be able to attend Primary 4 without the fear of being sent home due to a lack of fees.
For £40 per month, you can sponsor Francis’ education and give him the opportunity to complete primary, secondary, and tertiary education. Your support will cover his public school fees, uniform, shoes, and school meals, books and stationery. 100% of your sponsorship goes directly to these essentials. You’ll receive an annual school performance and life update, along with a photo of Francis as well as having the opportunity to exchange an annual letter.
