At just 9 years old, Felista shows remarkable strength and determination.
She lives in a small mud house with her elderly great-grandmother and two siblings, after being abandoned by their mother at a young age. Despite her age and frailty, their great-grandmother has done her best to care for them.
The family struggles daily, often without enough food, and Felista, now in Primary 3, already faces school fee debt that threatens her education. She had already had to start her primary education late due to a lack of money. They survive on the goodwill of neighbours, but support is scarce and uncertain.
Still, Felista dreams of becoming a lawyer, to stand up for others, just as she quietly fights for her own future each day.
For £40 per month, you can sponsor Felista’s education and give her the opportunity to complete primary, secondary, and tertiary education. 100% of your support will cover her public school fees, uniform, shoes, and school meals, books, stationery and menstrual care products when needed.
You’ll receive an annual school performance and life update, along with a photo of Felista as well as having the opportunity to exchange an annual letter, and have the chance to meet him should you come on one of our Kenya House Building (next one Summer 2026) trips to Kenya.
