Isabel attends junior secondary school and is currently in 8th grade. She resides with her mother and five siblings. The family is experiencing financial difficulties and has been struggling since the passing of their father in 2024 who had health issues. The eldest son works as temporary labourer in Nairobi and contributes his earnings to his mother to cover food and her monthly medical expenses.
The family resides in a one-bedroom dwelling. The mother shares a bed with her youngest son who is 3 and Isabel, while the other children share another bed together. Apart from the beds the only other furniture the family has are a chair and table. Their mother is a casual labourer who tries her best however she struggles to obtain work every day.
By sponsoring Isabel's education for £40 per month, you will be giving her the chance to attend and complete primary, secondary and tertiary education. 100% of your support will go towards her public-school fees, uniform, shoes, books, school meals, stationery and menstrual care products when required.
You will receive an end of year school performance and general update along with a photo from us and have the chance to meet her should you come on one of our Kenya House Building (next one 2026) trips to Kenya.
