Seth and his two sisters live in Kenya’s arid area, Turkana, where droughts and water shortages are frequent. They live in a temporary built 2-bedroom house on a small piece of land owned by the family, their mother works hard to ensure they all have something to eat at the end of the day, but they live hand to mouth and daily life is a struggle. Her main source of income comes from selling charcoal and firewood, but the work is not guaranteed, and with both Seth’s sisters older than him, his mother struggles to afford to keep Seth in school.
By sponsoring Seth's education for £40 per month, you will be giving him the chance to attend and complete primary, secondary and tertiary education. 100% of your support will go towards his public-school fees, uniform, shoes, books, school meals and stationery. Your support, in turn, will elevate the pressure on the family.
You will receive an end of year school performance and general update along with a photo from us and have the chance to meet him should you come on one of our House Building (next one 2026) trips to Kenya.
