When we first met this family they were living in a ‘house with no walls’. It was like nothing we had ever seen. Their family were bought to our attention by Wilson Kipsang whose home is in the same community. They urgently needed help and thanks to the hardwork and sponsorship from so many people

The GEF team and some volunteers met the very inspiring Rhoda and her family in 2018. She has been through more than anyone could imagine, fighting for her life and losing her hands in 2008 when her husband attacked her with a machete.

Viki is one of the real characters amongst the children we are supporting in Iten. He was born in June 2000 and is currently at St Peter’s Secondary where his favourite subject is science.
