Calvin’s father died because they couldn’t afford the medication he needed.
After an epileptic seizure and fall in June 2025, the family couldn’t pay for proper care—or even his burial, until the hospital waived part of the bill.
Now in Grade 5, Calvin carries that pain with purpose: she dreams of becoming a Doctor so others don’t suffer like her father did. But her family is still deep in debt, and her mum’s farm work can’t cover school fees for Calvin and her siblings.
She’s bright, determined, and ready to change lives—starting with her own.
