Gideon Gathimba and Myles Edwards have shown what can be achieved when you have a desire and determination to change the lives of others.  We would welcome the opportunity to share our story and show how what we have learned and achieved can be applied to any area of life.

Myles’ talk “Running for your dreams” focuses on how his experiences in Kenya and his achievements have come from a desire to improve both as an athlete and as a benevolent person, always looking to help others in need.

Are you part of a rotary group, running club or business who are meeting virtually during the current situation? Our co-founder Myles Edwards would welcome the opportunity to deliver a virtual presentation which tells you more about Gathimba Edwards Foundation and also focuses on motivation and dealing with setbacks.
Thank you to Sustrans, Newburgh Dunes Running Club, SPEAR Physiotherapy and Fit Like Joggers who have all taken part in their own tailor made presentations so far this year.

Here’s some feedback from attendees of Myles’ presentation with Sustrans:
“It was emotive, inspiring and motivational.”
“Myles has such a positive outlook and some really straightforward practical advice. It was great to have time for questions and his responses – that was one of the best aspects of the session.
“Very inspiring speaker. He gave a lot of advice around the subject of dealing with adversity.”
“I liked the level of detail in the presentation, it told a story with inspirational aspects but it kept its feet on the ground.”
“I liked Myles’ story and the commitment and motivation behind him achieving his goals. Not only in his running career, but within the charity he founded. I also liked how seamlessly it ran.”
You can watch Myles’ presentation for Sustrans Working It Out series here.
