12 year old Ashley is a bright and determined student who loves education, despite facing significant challenges.
She lives with asthma which occasionally affects her ability to learn and attend school. She is often regularly sent home due to a lack of fees. However, she remains committed to her studies and does her best to be present every day she is able.
She lives with her three siblings and single mother, Rosesisther, who works tirelessly to support the children by selling vegetables door-to-door, despite having no stable source of income. The family lives on a small piece of land, where they have constructed a modest two-room temporary shelter and a small kitchen.
For £40 per month, you can sponsor Ashley’s education and give her the opportunity to complete primary, secondary, and tertiary education. Your support will cover her public school fees, uniform, shoes, and school meals, books, stationery and menstrual care products when needed. 100% of your sponsorship goes directly to these essentials. You’ll receive an annual school performance and life update, along with a photo of Ashley as well as having the opportunity to exchange an annual letter.
